She was born in Saudi Arabia. She was raised in Syria, where she received a master’s degree in ELT (English Language Teaching) from Al Baath University.
She studied English Literature/ Translation Department, Al Baath University.
She also did three years of Law at Damascus University, Syria. She has a TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) certificate, University of Cambridge.
She is a certified legal translator from the Ministry of Justice in Syria. She worked before in public and private schools and universities in Syria.
In UAE, she worked as an English & Arabic Senior Instructor for non-native speakers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi language institutes. Through out her career as an Arabic Language instructor, she designed customized courses that fulfil the learners’ needs, and participated in Arabic Content Authoring project (For Blackboard). She prepared and delivered Advanced Arabic programs for diplomats. She Conducted the Translation Assessment for Translators' Employment, MoI, Abu Dhabi.  She presented Arabic culture workshops. 
She also worked as a lecturer at Al Dar University College, General Education Department, Dubai.
